The call
No app to open, no button to press, no wearable to charge. The phone rings at the time they already tend to be up, and a voice asks how they are: sleep, medicines, anything that hurts, and whatever else is on their mind.
Most days it is a pleasant two minutes and nothing more. Some days it is the first time anyone hears that something has changed.

Most days there is nothing to do, and the app says so plainly. It only asks something of you when it has a reason.
